The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.
SASSA are going to be rendering companies like new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency said it really is alarmed with regards to the large range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some substantial amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This can be due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office committed to service the area daily. The service level designed for intervention activities a large influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it tricky for that office to attend to all people who go to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more resources to help the servicing of all shoppers and enhance entry to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
